Portable Carbon Monoxide Meter Detector

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless, and non-irritant toxic gas with a molecular weight of 28.01 and density of 1.250g/l. It has a freezing point of -207°C and boiling point of -190°C. While its solubility in water is low, it dissolves instantly in ammonia water. The air mixed explosion limit ranges between 12.5% and 74%.

When carbon monoxide enters the human body, it combines with hemoglobin in the blood, preventing hemoglobin from binding with oxygen. This causes oxygen deficiency in tissues and organs, potentially leading to fatal suffocation. The colorless, odorless, and tasteless nature of CO makes it easy to overlook, increasing the risk of poisoning.

Carbon monoxide poses serious health risks, with high concentrations potentially causing death. Safe gas handling is essential, and industrial workers must monitor CO concentration levels carefully.

The carbon monoxide detector continuously monitors CO concentration levels with a clear large LCD screen and audible/visual alarm indicators.
